Fabrizio Romano confirms Chelsea’s interest in prolific 15 goals in 18 games striker

Transfer expert has confirmed Chelsea’s interest in a new striker who has bagged 15 goals in 18 games so far this season.

And the story has since been confirmed by Jacob Steinburg of The Guardian, and now Fabrizio Romano.

The story of course is that Chelsea have added Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres to their shortlist of potential strikers that they are looking at.

Steinburg confirmed Chelsea are scouting the player, and so has Romano this morning.

Speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing column, Romano explained that there is nothing particularly advanced happening at the moment with Gyokeres, but he has confirmed that Chelsea are monitoring him.

As per Wiki, the 25-year-old striker has scored 15 goals in 18 games this season and really seems to know where the net is. In two seasons for Coventry City before that, he scored 40 goals in 97 appearances.
