Chelsea ahead of  Barcelona and Liverpool to sign £34m World-class Star wanted by many clubs

In an effort to improve their squad before the transfer window closes, Chelsea has reportedly joined the race for Celta Vigo midfielder, Gabri Veiga. The 21-year-old Spanish talent, who possesses a physical playing style, may be a great fit for the English Premier League.

Other potential suitors for Veiga include Liverpool and Barcelona, making this a three-way race. Liverpool may have a greater need for the midfielder due to their recent transfer activity, including the signing of Alexis Mac Allister. However, the potential addition of Manu Koné and Khépren Thuram may make Veiga a lower priority.

Veiga’s contract reportedly includes a €40m (£34.4m) buyout clause, which could be enticing for Liverpool as they look to improve their roster. Meanwhile, Chelsea’s midfield could use some bolstering, as N’golo Kante is rumored to be heading to Al-Ittihad and Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are being linked to other clubs.

Despite their interest in Veiga, Chelsea may have missed out on their chance to sign Manuel Ugarte after Paris Saint-Germain doubled the player’s salary.

Overall, the competition for Gabri Veiga’s signature is heated, and it remains to be seen which club will secure him before the transfer window closes.
