Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has reacted to Chelsea’s 5-0 thrashing of Wrexham in our first pre-season game of the summer.

A brace from Ian Maatsen and goals from Conor Gallagher, Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chilwell secured a 5-0 victory over Wrexham in front of 50,000 supporters in Chapel Hill.

“Happy because of the attitude, of course, there’s a lot to improve but it is part of the process in this period to learn how we want to play and also be in a [good] physical condition. I am happy with the performance,” the Argentinian coach said.

“Yes, we have too many players we need to test.”
