“Title-Winning Giants Ready to Strike for Liverpool Star After Arne Slot’s Pivotal Move”

“Reigning Champions Set to Pounce on Liverpool Star After Arne Slot’s Bold Decision”
According to InterLive.it, reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo. The Japanese player has seen very limited action this season under new manager Arne Slot.
Since Jurgen Klopp’s departure and Slot’s arrival, Endo’s role at Anfield has drastically changed, with the midfielder seemingly not in Slot’s plans. The rise of Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has further sidelined Endo, as Gravenberch has secured a regular starting spot under Slot’s management. So far, Endo has only made two brief, one-minute appearances in the league as Liverpool climbed to the top of the Premier League.
The Reds have won six of their seven league matches this season, overtaking both Manchester City and Arsenal in the standings, all without significant contributions from Endo. With his future at the club uncertain, Inter Milan is looking to strengthen their midfield and considers the Liverpool star a fitting candidate despite his age.
A move away from Anfield could be just what Endo needs to revive his career, as Slot’s squad selections have shown he has no long-term future at Liverpool. The club had previously targeted Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi in the summer transfer window, but the Euro 2024 winner turned down the offer at the last minute.
While Slot is reportedly open to keeping Endo as cover for first-choice Gravenberch until a replacement is secured, it’s likely that Inter Milan—or another interested club—will soon make a move. When that happens, Liverpool would likely be open to letting Endo go, while Slot could be eyeing a move for a former player as a potential midfield reinforcement.
