Rashford broke his social media silence following Ten Hag’s dismissal but didn’t mention the former manager’s exit.

Ten Hag was dismissed after a difficult start to the season, with Ruud van Nistelrooy stepping in as interim manager.

During his two-and-a-half-year tenure, Ten Hag led United to Carabao Cup and FA Cup victories.

While several teammates, including Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho, publicly wished Ten Hag well, Rashford avoided commenting on his departure.

Instead, he briefly returned to social media to thank England’s X account for a birthday message, simply replying, “Thank you.”

Rashford and Ten Hag reportedly had a few tense interactions, including when Rashford was benched and fined after a night out in Belfast.

This season, Rashford has struggled, with just one Premier League goal in 15 appearances, totaling four goals across competitions. Last season, he scored eight goals in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes posted a heartfelt farewell to Ten Hag, thanking him for his trust and shared moments, and urged fans to remember the positive impact the manager had on the club.

With just 11 points and four league losses, United currently sits 14th in the table as they prepare to face Chelsea on Sunday.
