“‘Did You See That?’ – Sky Reporter Spots Something in Liverpool Training That’ll Thrill Reds Fans”
Liverpool will head into Saturday’s Premier League clash with Brighton missing several key players, though there’s promising news on one player nearing a return.
This morning, Arne Slot confirmed that Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, and Federico Chiesa are sidelined until after the November international break. However, Sky Sports reporter Vinny O’Connor spotted a positive development during Liverpool’s session at the AXA Training Centre.
O’Connor shared a video of the Liverpool squad training in Kirkby, highlighting two players training separately and one making visible progress in recovery. The video posted on X included this update: “Liverpool currently training ahead of the game against Brighton. [Jarell] Quansah and [Conor] Bradley training separately from the group. Also saw Harvey Elliott back out on the grass but still not joining in full training.”

Elliott’s progress is a boost for Liverpool
While it’s uncertain if Quansah and Bradley’s separate session signals injuries, Elliott’s return to the pitch is an encouraging sign for Liverpool. The 21-year-old has had limited involvement since Slot’s arrival, appearing only briefly against Brentford in August before a foot fracture sustained on England under-21 duty in September kept him sidelined for nearly two months.
Elliott has posted gym photos showing his efforts to regain fitness, with the reputable Premier Injuries website suggesting he might return on November 24 against Southampton. The international break offers Elliott an ideal recovery period, and fans will be hoping he returns fit and ready to make a real impact as Liverpool heads into the winter fixtures.
