“Paul Pogba’s Latest Comments Are Sure to Ruffle Tottenham Fans”

Paul Pogba took a swipe at Tottenham Hotspur and their fans during an appearance on a popular Twitch channel this week.

Currently serving a suspension, Pogba has been out of competitive play since September last year after being found guilty of doping. His original four-year ban was reduced to 18 months after he argued that he had unintentionally ingested the banned substance. This reduction means the 31-year-old can return to the pitch in March next year. With extra time on his hands, Pogba joined IShowSpeed’s Twitch channel for a live stream.

During the stream, Pogba and the host discussed various topics, even chatting live with fans from different clubs. One of the callers, a Spurs fan, claimed that Tottenham were superior to Manchester United. Defending his former club, Pogba responded with a jab, saying, “When Spurs win a trophy, then you can come back!”

Tottenham fans are no strangers to trophy taunts, having endured them for years, but many are hopeful that this season, the team can break their 16-year trophy drought. Manager Ange Postecoglou and the Spurs squad certainly seem to believe they have what it takes to bring home silverware this year.
