“Fresh Injury Concern: Leandro Trossard Limps Off During Belgium Clash”

“Leandro Trossard Injury Update: Concerns Rise After Belgian Star Limps Off”
Arsenal have received an update on forward Leandro Trossard after he suffered an injury during Belgium’s 1-0 defeat to Israel in a European qualifier on Sunday.
Trossard, who started the match, was substituted in the 37th minute after appearing uncomfortable on the pitch. He was replaced by Johan Bakayoko, sparking concerns for both Belgium and Arsenal.
Belgium head coach Domenico Tedesco confirmed the injury in his post-match remarks, adding Trossard and Zeno Debast to the team’s growing list of sidelined players.
“We had 21 injured players during the previous qualifying stage, and today we lost Leo Trossard and Zeno Debast to injuries,” Tedesco said, according to UEFA.
Tedesco also addressed the challenges Belgium faced during the match, explaining: “We fielded a team that had never played or trained together. Although we started well, difficult circumstances affected the outcome.”
Leandro Trossard was forced off during Belgium’s match against Israel but the initial signs suggest it may have been an impact injury rather than a muscle problem.
The forward is set to return to London for further assessment by Arsenal’s medical staff.
Since joining Arsenal in January 2023, Trossard has missed only one game due to injury, showcasing his reliability. However, his premature exit has raised questions about his availability for Arsenal’s upcoming fixtures, adding another injury concern to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
