“Alarming Video of Bruno Fernandes in Man United’s Defeat to Bournemouth Goes Viral”

“Viral Footage of Bruno Fernandes in Man United’s Loss to Bournemouth Sparks Concern”
Manchester United suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, with Bruno Fernandes’ performance coming under intense scrutiny.
United entered the match hoping to build on their win over Manchester City, but Bournemouth dominated from start to finish, with goals from Dean Huijsen, Justin Kluivert, and Antoine Semenyo securing a comprehensive victory.
It was a disappointing day for Ruben Amorim, marking his heaviest loss since taking over as manager from Erik ten Hag. After the match, a viral video compilation showcased Fernandes’ struggles on the pitch, as the United captain missed three good scoring opportunities and made several uncharacteristic errors with crosses and passes.
On social media, fans expressed their frustration, with one saying, “Too many missed chances. His performance today wasn’t really good,” and another adding, “We could’ve gotten at least 3 goals from him.” A third fan wrote, “Absolute rubbish, that’s what he displayed today,” while others criticized his performance as “very poor.”
However, some fans defended the 30-year-old, with one commenting, “He’s not useless, just wasn’t at his best today.”
The loss leaves United in 13th place in the Premier League, 17 points behind leaders Liverpool. This marks the first time in Premier League history that United will be in the bottom half of the table at Christmas.
After the match, Amorim reflected, “It’s much easier to pass on an idea when you’re winning and not conceding, but it’s also a privilege to be here. We have to keep going. Nothing bad lasts forever, and nothing good lasts forever, so we have to remain strong in our ideas, especially in tough moments. We will continue and aim to win the next game.”
United’s next match is against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day.
