Bobby Duncan, the cousin of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, was once seen as a rising star after impressing with the Reds’ Under-18s and playing a key role in their 2019 FA Youth Cup triumph.

His rapid progress even earned him a pre-season appearance under Jurgen Klopp, fueling hopes for a bright future at Anfield.

However, his journey took a dramatic turn when his agent accused Liverpool of “bullying” and hindering Duncan’s career, prompting a calm but firm response from the club.

Despite Liverpool’s efforts to resolve the issue discreetly, Duncan soon departed, signing for Fiorentina’s youth team in Italy in a £1.8 million move.
