Iconic former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp, who stepped down from his role at the Merseyside club last year, is reportedly contemplating a return to the touchline.

Currently working as Red Bull’s Head of Global Soccer — a position he took on in January 2025 — Klopp is said to be growing dissatisfied with his executive duties.

During his highly successful tenure at Liverpool, the German coach led the club to Premier League and Champions League glory, cementing his place as one of the most decorated managers in the club’s history. He left the club in the capable hands of Arne Slot, who has since guided the team admirably.

Now, after nearly a year away from coaching, Klopp is reportedly considering a return to management. According to Brazilian outlet UOL, he would only leave his Red Bull role for the chance to manage either Real Madrid or the Brazil national team.
