Despite the celebrations, Alexander-Arnold chose not to speak to the media following the game, having requested media silence beforehand amid ongoing speculation regarding his future at the club.
Last month, journalist Alex Crook reported that the England international had agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, making a move away from Anfield appear inevitable.
However, no official announcement has been made, and Alexander-Arnold’s recent activity online has thrown his possible departure into doubt.
After a lengthy break from posting, he reappeared on social media to celebrate Liverpool’s title win.
On Wednesday, he shared a photo of himself arriving at Liverpool’s training ground, captioned “Premier League Champions,” which only fueled hopes among fans that he might stay and renew his contract.
Supporters reacted emotionally to the post. One joked: “If he stays, someone needs to edit Batista (Trent) turning on Triple H (Bellingham) and Flair (Perez).”
