Manchester United fans noticed what Victor Osimhen shared just hours after reports that Viktor Gyokeres has turned down the club in favor of Arsenal.
Victor Osimhen turned to social media following reports that Manchester United target Viktor Gyokeres declined a transfer to Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans observed Victor Osimhen’s social media post shortly after news about Viktor Gyokeres’ future came to light.
United is on the lookout for a new striker to replace Rasmus Hojlund, who struggled during the previous season. Hojlund, signed for £72 million from Atalanta in the summer of 2023, scored only 10 goals across all competitions, with just four in the Premier League.
Several forwards are being considered for a move to Old Trafford, including Osimhen from Napoli, who was on loan at Galatasaray last season, and Gyokeres from Sporting CP, who played under Ruben Amorim before leaving.
However, Gyokeres seems to be leaning toward a transfer to Arsenal, who are also in search of a new striker for the 2025/26 season. Fabrizio Romano reports that Gyokeres’ main goal is to join Mikel Arteta’s team. Arsenal has made an official offer, but it was quickly declined by Sporting CP.
This leaves Manchester United needing to look for other options, as Gyokeres has made his preferences clear.
Amorim may now consider Osimhen, especially after United fans noticed his recent social media activity amid Gyokeres’ decision to turn down a return to Amorim.
Osimhen’s post featured a picture that garnered attention from United supporters. One fan commented, “My striker,” with a heart emoji, while another urged, “Come to Man United king.” In contrast, a rival fan criticized him as an “aura farmer.”
Osimhen had a remarkable season, scoring 37 goals for Galatasaray and tallying 65 goals in 108 Serie A matches.
