One Tottenham Hotspur player earned a place in Squawka’s Premier League Team of the Week following the draw against Brighton.

Although Spurs left the Amex Stadium with only a point, Thomas Frank described the display as their best performance of the season. Tottenham started strongly, dominated the early stages, but fell two goals behind against the run of play. Unlike last season, Frank’s side showed resilience, fought back, and levelled the match. Joao Palhinha even admitted the players were disappointed not to win.

Richarlison in the Team of the Week
Richarlison pulled Spurs back into the game with a goal late in the first half, his third of the campaign. He may not have started if Randal Kolo Muani had been available, but his showing earned him a spot in Squawka’s XI.

The platform awarded him a score of 79 per cent, noting: “Leading the charge in the Premier League team of the week, Richarlison scored his third league goal of the season in Tottenham’s 2-2 draw with Brighton on Saturday. The Brazilian struck with one of five shots at the AMEX and won two aerial duels to feature on the frontline.”
