Former Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has shared his thoughts on Liverpool attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz.
“I’ve always had huge respect for players who decide to take a big leap,” Kahn said. “He came from the safe, familiar surroundings of Leverkusen and suddenly finds himself sitting on the sidelines, realizing: ‘Wow, everyone here is just as good as me — or even better.’”
So far this season, Wirtz has recorded just one assist in 10 appearances for the club.
