Heung-min Son extends a heartfelt gesture to Tottenham supporters in his poignant farewell address.

Heung-min Son spoke to Tottenham Hotspur fans before their 3-0 Champions League win over Slavia Prague, offering them a tempting proposition.
Returning to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a European night was particularly fitting for Son, who played a vital role in the team’s run to the final in the 2018/19 Champions League, scoring key goals against Manchester City. He also contributed to their success in the Europa League last season, securing his first trophy with the club he has dedicated ten remarkable years to.
Although Son participated in one final pre-season match knowing he would be leaving, he didn’t have the chance to properly say goodbye to the Spurs supporters. However, he returned to North London to address the fans before the match against Slavia Prague.
He expressed that he would always support Spurs and playfully invited the crowd to visit him in Los Angeles, likely not expecting them to take it literally. He said, “Good evening, everyone, it’s Sonny here. I hope you don’t forget me. I’m still here. It’s been an amazing ten years. Thank you, I will always be Spurs, and this will always be my home. I will never forget you. Please, come visit LA when you want. I love you all. Come on you Spurs!” (TNT Sports).
Son picked an opportune moment to return, witnessing his former teammates claim a comfortable 3-0 victory, enjoying the sight of two summer signings scoring and proving that Spurs can thrive even in his absence.
