€120M on the table as Real Madrid chase Liverpool key man

Real Madrid are said to be monitoring Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch closely. The Netherlands international has impressed since arriving in the Premier League and has quickly become a regular starter for the Reds. According to reports from Fichajes, the Spanish giants are eager to strengthen their midfield and have already lodged a hefty €120 million bid for the 23-year-old.
Gravenberch’s importance to Liverpool
Whether Liverpool would be willing to entertain such an offer remains unclear. The report suggests the club considers Gravenberch a vital part of their squad, though they also recognize that a sale at that price could provide funds to strengthen several areas. The midfielder is under contract at Anfield until 2028, giving Liverpool full control over his future.
Liverpool are already short on depth and quality in central midfield, having leaned heavily on Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister. Letting the Dutchman leave would force the club to recruit multiple midfielders. With Liverpool already in the midst of a transition and having made numerous changes, it is uncertain whether they would want to overhaul their midfield again ahead of next season.
Liverpool should hold firm
Ideally, the Reds should retain their top performers and build around them. They began the season with title ambitions, but those hopes have faded, and they are now battling for a top-four finish. Maintaining squad stability while addressing weaknesses in upcoming transfer windows may be the smarter approach.
As for Gravenberch, he is reportedly happy at Liverpool and shows no signs of pushing for a move. While Real Madrid remain an appealing destination for most players, a transfer at this stage appears unlikely.
