Exclusive: A Tottenham insider has disclosed that the club’s hierarchy is weighing every possible course of action regarding Thomas Frank’s future, with the option of dismissing him firmly on the table.

Frank, who succeeded Ange Postecoglou in June 2025, has endured a difficult spell, with Spurs currently stuck in mid-table. After Wednesday’s 3–2 defeat away to Bournemouth, the club sits 14th in the Premier League, having recorded only three wins from their last 13 matches in all competitions. Insiders say the board is fully aware of the disappointing results and is pushing for an immediate improvement.
Although a formal review of Frank’s position is still expected at the end of the season, further dropped points could accelerate any decision. One source said the board is “considering all options” and stressed that visible improvement is needed to ease the growing pressure.
Supporter unrest has also intensified, driven by recent results and off-field distractions. Frank was photographed using an Arsenal-branded cup before the Bournemouth match, an incident he later described as unintentional, but which added to frustration among fans. It has also emerged that Marseille head coach Roberto de Zerbi is being monitored as a potential alternative should Tottenham decide to make a change, though he is also attracting interest from Manchester United. Sources indicate that while he is aware of Spurs’ interest, United would likely be his first choice. At the same time, there is an understanding within the club that the squad requires significant rebuilding regardless of who is in charge.

Separately, reports indicate that RB Leipzig do not intend to sell winger Yan Diomande in January despite interest from Tottenham. Spurs were the first Premier League club to scout the 19-year-old, but Liverpool and Manchester United are now also monitoring him.
