Despite reports in Germany suggesting Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson was a target, Plettenberg clarified on X that Liverpool are urgently assessing multiple options for the current transfer window but have no interest in Ryerson at this stage.

The timing of the injury is far from ideal for Arne Slot. With Liverpool chasing the league leaders, losing Bradley represents a significant setback. Frimpong is now the only recognised senior right-back available, while Joe Gomez can fill in but lacks the attacking output required for Slot’s system.
