Tottenham may end loan spell as Champions League heavyweight shows interest

Tottenham are willing to cut short Randal Kolo Muani’s loan spell, according to talkSPORT.

Any early return to his parent club would depend on Spurs securing a replacement, but time is running out with the transfer deadline fast approaching.

The France international has found life difficult in north London since joining last summer and is still without a Premier League goal. His only two strikes for the club came in the 5-3 Champions League loss to parent side Paris Saint-Germain in November.

Kolo Muani spent the latter part of last season on loan at Juventus, where he made a flying start with five goals in his first three appearances. Despite believing he had done enough to earn a permanent move, negotiations collapsed between the clubs.

That opened the door for Tottenham, but the forward has struggled to make a lasting impact and Spurs are now unlikely to activate their purchase option.

Juventus remain in the market for a striker, having explored moves for Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta and Morocco international Youssef En-Nesyri without success. A proven option like Kolo Muani could yet appeal, with Luciano Spalletti known to be an admirer.

Tottenham continue to be active in the January window, with potential arrivals and departures still on the table. As reported by talkSPORT, goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky is in discussions over a loan move to West Ham with an option to buy, having struggled for game time behind Guglielmo Vicario since arriving from Slavia Prague last year.

There could also be fresh developments in Spurs’ pursuit of Andy Robertson. While interest in the Liverpool left-back appeared to cool over the weekend, a potential recall of Kostas Tsimikas from Roma could reopen the door.

Spurs have already been busy this window, completing the signings of Conor Gallagher and Souza.
