Next Tottenham manager betting odds: Former Brighton manager emerges as favourite to succeed Thomas Frank

Former Marseille and Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi is the favourite to become Tottenham’s next head coach following Thomas Frank’s dismissal on Wednesday morning. talkSPORT BET have listed the Italian at 1/2, ahead of former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at 7/4, as the club begins its search for a new manager. The full odds are available here.
Frank was sacked after Tottenham’s 2-1 home loss to Newcastle on Tuesday left the team 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone. The defeat extended Spurs’ winless run to nine domestic matches since the start of the year. Consecutive losses to Manchester United and Newcastle appear to have sealed Frank’s fate, with the club facing a home north London derby in just 11 days.
De Zerbi, 46, has just left his role as Marseille manager, where he guided the French side to fifth in Ligue 1 this season, having previously finished second the year before. He also achieved success in England with Brighton, leading them to their first-ever top-six finish in the Premier League and taking them to the Europa League knockout stages in his second season.
Next Tottenham manager odds:
• Roberto de Zerbi – 1/2
• Mauricio Pochettino – 7/4
• Xavi Hernandez – 8/1
• Robbie Keane – 8/1
• Ruben Amorim – 12/1
• Xabi Alonso – 16/1
• Oliver Glasner – 16/1
• Enzo Maresca – 20/1
Pochettino is also being linked with a return to Spurs, having managed nearly 300 games across five years from 2014–2019. He led the club to second place in the league—their highest finish since 1963—and to their first-ever Champions League final, as well as two Carabao Cup finals. Despite this, he never won silverware at the club and is currently managing the USA national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup, likely making him unavailable until the tournament concludes.
Former Spurs striker Robbie Keane, now 45, is another contender at 8/1. He enjoyed a long playing career at Tottenham, scoring 122 goals in 306 appearances, and has since managed Hungarian side Ferencvaros, winning the league and guiding them to the Europa League knockout stage.
Xavi, former Barcelona manager and World Cup-winning Spain midfielder, is also priced at 8/1. He left Barcelona in 2024 after three years in charge, winning La Liga and the Supercopa in 2023. Other candidates linked with the Tottenham job include Ruben Amorim, Xabi Alonso, Enzo Maresca, and Oliver Glasner.
