As reported by TeamTalk, representatives from Liverpool travelled to Germany over the weekend to complete background checks on the highly rated winger. Several clubs are circling the 19-year-old, but Liverpool are believed to be the most advanced in the race for his signature.

The teenager has registered nine goals and six assists for RB Leipzig this season, catching the attention of several elite European sides. He possesses the raw attributes needed to develop into a top-level star, making him an attractive long-term investment.
However, securing his services won’t come cheap. Diomande is reportedly valued at around £87 million ahead of the summer window. While his talent is undeniable, questions remain over whether his current output fully justifies such a fee.
