Defenders: Pedro Porro, Kevin Danso, Micky van de Ven, Djed Spence
\nRomero\u2019s adductor issue keeps him sidelined, meaning Danso continues alongside Van de Ven in central defence. The Dutchman, however, is one booking away from suspension. Udogie\u2019s injury allows Spence to continue at left-back, while Porro keeps his spot on the right. Spurs\u2019 full-backs will need to stay alert, as Monaco are expected to target the wide areas aggressively.<\/p>\n
Midfield: Jo\u00e3o Palhinha, Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall
\nBentancur is expected to control the game\u2019s tempo, alternating between dropping deep to help build from the back and pushing higher alongside Palhinha. Bergvall returns to the starting XI to provide progressive carries and link-up play in advanced phases.<\/p>\n
