Tottenham cruised to a splendid 3-0 victory over Everton at the weekend. It was an impressive display from the Lilywhites to claim all three points, yet manager Thomas Frank may still have a concern to address at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n
As Everton pushed hard to find a way back into the game, substitute Pape Matar Sarr sealed the result with a late header.<\/p>\n
However, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O\u2019Hara noticed something beyond the goal itself. Taking to social media, he expressed concern that Sarr might be unhappy, writing:<\/p>\n
> \u201cThe fact Sarr doesn\u2019t even celebrate says to me that not being played has really got to him. He\u2019s not happy, and that makes me sad. We need to get him on the pitch from the start \u2014 he\u2019s been outstanding this season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sarr began the season as a regular starter but has since found himself in more of a substitute role. With Thomas Frank shaping a technically focused midfield featuring Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Bentancur, the Senegalese international has been left to fight for his place. While the team\u2019s current depth makes such competition inevitable, the situation still calls for careful management, especially given Sarr\u2019s strong performances earlier in the campaign.<\/p>\n
Sarr has been a key contributor this season, impressing in the box-to-box role assigned to him. Yet, while he offers energy and attacking drive, he doesn\u2019t quite provide the same midfield control as Bentancur. With Palhinha anchoring the base and Bentancur acting as a fluid link in the second phase, Frank\u2019s structure has favored balance and control over raw dynamism.<\/p>\n
