Initial reports from the Netherlands suggested he might return for his country’s matches in mid-November. However, an update from Merseyside presents a more concerning situation for both the Dutch right-back and the team.<\/p>\n
How long will Frimpong be out due to injury? <\/p>\n
In his latest Liverpool Confidential update for Mail Sport, Lewis Steele indicated that Frimpong could be sidelined for up to six weeks, with early December being the most likely timeframe for his return. This means he will almost certainly miss all six matches in November, including crucial games against Real Madrid and Manchester City, as well as a Champions League clash at home against PSV Eindhoven.<\/p>\n
The best-case scenario is that he might return for the Premier League match against Sunderland on December 3, followed by away games against Leeds and Inter Milan.<\/p>\n
Liverpool will rely on Conor Bradley during Frimpong\u2019s absence. Frimpong has already faced a brief injury spell at the start of the season, making his initial months at Liverpool inconsistent, with coach Arne Slot yet to establish a regular right-back starter.<\/p>\n
Currently, Conor Bradley is the only experienced option available, although Dominik Szoboszlai has filled in that role at times, and Calvin Ramsay showed promise during a rare first-team appearance against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
While Slot has alternatives for the right-back position, it\u2019s unfortunate that one of the summer signings will be out for at least another month, leading to players being used out of their preferred positions.<\/p>\n
The series of challenging fixtures in early December will be tough for Liverpool, especially given their close scheduling. It would be beneficial to have Frimpong back by then.<\/p>\n
