Thomas Frank has confirmed that Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, and Wilson Odobert are fit and available for Tottenham\u2019s Premier League clash with Chelsea on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Lilywhites host the Blues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Frank aware that a win could lift his side to second place in the table. Despite ongoing injury problems, including absences for James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke, Spurs have received a boost with three key players returning.<\/p>\n
Speaking to the media on Friday, Frank said: \u201cYes, the positive is that Romero, Destiny, and Wilson are available for selection.\u201d Romero experienced discomfort during the warm-up before Tottenham\u2019s loss to Aston Villa two weeks ago, while Udogie has been out since the October international break with a knee injury. Odobert missed the Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle due to a side strain, but all three are set to rejoin the squad for the Chelsea match.<\/p>\n
Frank added on Romero: \u201cI always take responsibility for selection decisions. I get all the information from the medical and performance staff, but in the end, it\u2019s on me. If he was fit enough, he would have been involved on Wednesday, but now he\u2019s ready, and we\u2019ll see how he performs.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also confirmed that Solanke will not be rushed back and is expected to remain sidelined until after the November international break, while Kota Takai is set to resume training following a quad injury.<\/p>\n
Frank said about Solanke: \u201cWe\u2019re managing his recovery carefully. He won\u2019t be available before the international break, but everything is moving in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
