Paul Scholes and Roy Keane have offered contrasting predictions ahead of Liverpool\u2019s Premier League clash with Manchester City on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Liverpool could climb above Pep Guardiola\u2019s side into second place if they manage to repeat last season\u2019s win at the Etihad. There\u2019s also a chance to close in on league leaders Arsenal, should the Gunners slip up against in-form Sunderland the day before.<\/p>\n
After a dreadful run of six losses in seven matches across all competitions, Arne Slot\u2019s men have responded strongly with deserved victories over Aston Villa and Real Madrid. However, their next challenge is a City side who\u2019ve won eight of their last 10 games.<\/p>\n
What did Scholes and Keane predict?<\/p>\n
During the Stick to Football show, the pundits gave their weekend Premier League predictions, with most backing a Manchester City win.<\/p>\n
Ian Wright, speaking from an Arsenal perspective, said:<\/p>\n
\u201cA draw would be a good result, but I think City will beat them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jill Scott and Roy Keane both agreed with Wright\u2019s verdict.<\/p>\n
