Liverpool have announced that their Legends team will face Borussia Dortmund Legends at Anfield in March 2026, with all proceeds once again going to support the LFC Foundation, as confirmed via Liverpoolfc.com.<\/p>\n
The match will come nearly ten years after that iconic 4\u20133 Europa League comeback against the same opponents in 2016 \u2013 one of Anfield\u2019s greatest modern nights.<\/p>\n
The event will raise funds for both the LFC Foundation and the BVB Foundation, backing community initiatives focused on health, education, and employment in Liverpool and Dortmund alike.<\/p>\n
Matt Parish, chief executive of the LFC Foundation, said:<\/p>\n
“Our annual legends match is always a special day, and we\u2019re thrilled to welcome BVB to Anfield. These games celebrate our shared history and football heroes while helping us continue our life-changing community work.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tickets are already available for season ticket holders and All Red Members, with general sale beginning on Friday, November 7.<\/p>\n
