The PGMOL have released the VAR audio from the moments following Virgil van Dijk\u2019s disallowed goal against Manchester City on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Liverpool\u2019s captain appeared to have equalized with a brilliant header after 38 minutes at the Etihad, only for the goal to be ruled out due to Andy Robertson\u2019s involvement.<\/p>\n
Robertson was in an offside position and was deemed to have interfered with Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.<\/p>\n
However, footage from certain angles shows that Donnarumma had a clear view of van Dijk and wasn\u2019t affected by Robertson at all. Despite this, Video Assistant Referee Michael Oliver \u2013 a Newcastle United supporter \u2013 ruled the goal out after a brief review.<\/p>\n
