While O\u2019Rourke confirms Tottenham\u2019s continued interest in Rodrygo, he admits that signing the Brazilian mid-season would be extremely difficult. This aligns with Florian Plettenberg\u2019s earlier report, which stated that Spurs cannot afford Rodrygo\u2019s wages and that current links are overstated.<\/p>\n
As a result, Tottenham could now turn their attention to Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, who has made an impressive start to the season. O\u2019Rourke notes that although Everton are reluctant to part ways with the Senegal international, Spurs are closely monitoring his situation.<\/p>\n
Other sources have also backed Tottenham\u2019s strong admiration for Ndiaye. Recently, Dean Jones reported that Spurs may fully pursue the Everton star following Rogers\u2019 contract extension at Villa.
