Tottenham attacking midfielder Dejan Kulusevski has been out since May after sustaining an injury against Crystal Palace, which ruled him out of Spurs\u2019 Europa League final victory over Manchester United.<\/p>\n
The Swedish playmaker, who underwent surgery on his right patella, has now stepped up his recovery and is back doing fitness work on the grass. Though he hasn\u2019t played under Thomas Frank this season, there are promising signs of progress.<\/p>\n
Destiny Udogie recently offered a positive update by sharing a Snapchat video showing Kulusevski training on the grass in Dubai, where the pair appear to be working together.<\/p>\n
Despite the encouraging footage, Tottenham have not set a return date, and it remains uncertain whether the 25-year-old will feature before the end of 2025. Udogie himself has only just returned from a knee issue and was left out of Italy\u2019s squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Norway.<\/p>\n
Back in October, Frank confirmed that Kulusevski was not yet training outside, indicating that the midfielder\u2019s latest progress marks an important step forward in his rehabilitation.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s still not on the grass, and we\u2019re working very hard to get him fit as quickly as possible,\u201d Frank said last month.<\/p>\n
Spurs have had to cope with a lengthy injury list this season. Dominic Solanke remains sidelined following ankle surgery, while Radu Dragusin, Archie Gray, Ben Davies, Kota Takai, and James Maddison are also unavailable.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Lucas Bergvall is expected to return after the international break following a concussion suffered in the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea. Mohammed Kudus stayed behind from international duty with Ghana due to a knock, and Randal Kolo Muani fractured his jaw in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United.<\/p>\n
