On Alisson, he said the 33-year-old is \u201chopeful of being back\u201d in the starting lineup against Nottingham Forest in nine days. His absence from the Brazil squad has given him extra recovery time on Merseyside before club football resumes.<\/p>\n
Why Alisson\u2019s comeback matters
\nGiorgi Mamardashvili has filled in admirably over the last six weeks, similar to how Caoimhin Kelleher stepped up in previous seasons. Despite conceding three goals to both Brentford and Manchester City, the Georgian kept clean sheets against Aston Villa and Real Madrid, saved a penalty from Erling Haaland, and produced several impressive reflex stops.<\/p>\n
