The defeat marked Liverpool\u2019s second Premier League setback at Anfield this season, with Sean Dyche\u2019s well-organised Forest side outmuscling Arne Slot\u2019s team throughout the match.<\/p>\n
Even with big names like Alexander Isak, Mohamed Salah, and the returning Alisson in the starting XI, Liverpool struggled to cope with Forest\u2019s direct, physical approach, especially on the counter.<\/p>\n
Forest opened the scoring in the 33rd minute through Murillo. Some Liverpool supporters argued that Dan Ndoye obstructed Alisson\u2019s view, but the goal was allowed to stand. According to the Premier League Match Centre, the Forest player \u201cdid not make an action that impacted an opponent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Athletic\u2019s James Pearce also described Konat\u00e9\u2019s first-half performance as a \u201cnightmare.\u201d<\/p>\n
