He admitted the team must \u201cwork harder\u201d and called their current form a serious \u201cproblem\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone has to take responsibility,\u201d Van Dijk said. \u201cWe have to accept this, take it on the chin and improve. Everyone is rightly disappointed \u2014 losing at home to Nottingham Forest is, for me, very bad. The goals we conceded were far too soft, and we all need to look in the mirror. I\u2019ve been here a long time and we\u2019ve faced difficult moments before. We\u2019ll bounce back, but it won\u2019t be instant. I\u2019m not a quitter \u2014 we\u2019ll keep pushing.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also commented on some supporters leaving early after Forest\u2019s third goal: \u201cI can\u2019t control what fans decide to do. They\u2019ve stuck with us through everything. They\u2019ll stay with us as we come through this \u2014 because we will come through it.\u201d<\/p>\n
