But the situation only deteriorated further. Sean Dyche\u2019s side ran out 3-0 winners at Anfield, intensifying the uncertainty surrounding Slot\u2019s position.<\/p>\n
The defeat leaves Liverpool 11th in the Premier League standings\u2014closer to the relegation zone than to leaders Arsenal, who were their main title rivals last season.<\/p>\n
Across all competitions, Liverpool have now suffered eight defeats in their last 11 matches and five losses in their last six league games. Unsurprisingly, a growing section of supporters is demanding Slot\u2019s dismissal.<\/p>\n
