\nDespite the dreadful form, Liverpool\u2019s leadership still plan to stick with Slot, who replaced Jurgen Klopp in summer 2024. The report notes, however, that he is under major pressure and that the situation could change if results continue to worsen.<\/p>\n
Daily Mail journalist Lewis Steele posted on X (formerly Twitter) that club executives are significantly increasing the pressure on the former Feyenoord boss following the team\u2019s dramatic slump. Even so, he stated that Slot\u2014who is expected to speak to the media at 15:00\u2014still has the backing of those above him.<\/p>\n
Sources close to both the club and Slot insist he will not be dismissed at this stage. Liverpool\u2019s hierarchy, who invested heavily in players such as Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak last summer, have not revised their position after the heavy loss to PSV.<\/p>\n
