Liverpool have reached a firm stance on Arne Slot\u2019s future following their disastrous Champions League defeat to PSV.<\/p>\n
The Premier League champions endured one of their worst nights under Slot as PSV Eindhoven cruised to a 4-1 victory at Anfield on Wednesday, exposing the Reds\u2019 alarming dip in form.<\/p>\n
The loss means Liverpool have now shipped seven goals and scored just once across three straight defeats \u2014 two of which came at home \u2014 increasing the scrutiny on Slot only seven months after he lifted the Premier League title.<\/p>\n
Despite the growing pressure, the Liverpool boss has now been informed of the club\u2019s decision regarding his role ahead of Sunday\u2019s clash with West Ham United.<\/p>\n
After the PSV defeat, Slot insisted he wasn\u2019t concerned about losing his job, saying his focus remained on improving results:
\n\u201cNo, I am not worried. My focus is on other things. I need to do better.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Mail Sport, his confidence appears justified. The Liverpool hierarchy are standing by Slot and believe he can reverse the team\u2019s poor run of results.
