Even so, journalist Lewis Steele reported on Thursday that the 47-year-old still has the support of the club\u2019s hierarchy, though they expect a swift turnaround.<\/p>\n
Slot confirms talks with Liverpool chiefs
\nSpeaking at his press conference before Sunday\u2019s clash with West Ham, Slot was asked whether he\u2019d spoken to sporting director Richard Hughes or other senior figures since the PSV defeat.
\nHe said (via Liverpool FC on YouTube): \u201cWe\u2019ve had the same discussions we always have. We keep fighting and trying to improve. The conversations haven\u2019t changed from the last year and a half.\u201d<\/p>\n
