There were shocking scenes at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday when a section of supporters turned on Vicario. After his error that led to Fulham\u2019s second goal, the goalkeeper was repeatedly booed whenever he touched the ball, and some fans even gave sarcastic cheers when he made a save.<\/p>\n
Thomas Frank condemned the behaviour, saying it was unacceptable for fans to jeer their own players during a match. Pedro Porro backed his manager, suggesting the crowd had shown a lack of respect.<\/p>\n

Some supporters have criticised Frank\u2019s stance, arguing they have every right to boo. Vega, while sympathising with the fans\u2019 frustration, urged them to direct their anger at the club\u2019s hierarchy instead of the squad.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI don\u2019t even know if the club has an identity anymore. There\u2019s nothing left for fans to connect with except complaining and booing players\u2014which I don\u2019t agree with. But I do understand the fans; I\u2019ve been in their position. Back then, without social media, we just kept going and eventually won a trophy.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe real frustration should be aimed at the board. They\u2019ve failed the fans for years, still demand loyalty, charge the highest ticket prices in the Premier League, yet offer no real connection. They\u2019ve prioritised infrastructure and real estate over football and supporters. Kane wasn\u2019t replaced, Son wasn\u2019t replaced\u2026 the list goes on.\u201d<\/p>\n
