Despite this explanation, the call was widely criticised. Jamie Carragher called it \u201charsh\u201d on Sky Sports, while Rio Ferdinand branded the decision \u201cdisgraceful\u201d, saying both the VAR team and the referee should be \u201cashamed\u201d.<\/p>\n
