Sunderland went ahead through Chemsdine Talbi, whose 67th-minute strike from distance beat Alisson after taking a deflection off Virgil van Dijk. The visitors fully deserved their advantage, but it didn\u2019t last long\u2014Florian Wirtz\u2019s shot, which also deflected, brought Liverpool level. Ibrahima Konat\u00e9 once again found himself targeted by supporters during the match, amid reports that Real Madrid have ended their interest in signing him on a free transfer next summer.<\/p>\n

\nThis comes shortly after the French defender publicly addressed criticism from Jamie Carragher over his recent performances.<\/p>\n

Konat\u00e9 wasn\u2019t the only player in the firing line. Joe Gomez also faced heavy backlash from supporters for his display.<\/p>\n
One frustrated fan said: \u201cJoe Gomez is the worst player I\u2019ve ever seen for Liverpool. He\u2019s terrible\u2014I’m embarrassed watching him play for us. Konat\u00e9 isn\u2019t far behind.\u201d
