\nIn his latest Liverpool Confidential piece for Mail Sport, Steele revealed that Jayden Danns is back on the grass and working with the ball as he builds fitness after a hamstring issue. The 19-year-old\u2014whose loan at Sunderland last season was cut short by a back injury\u2014could be fully fit by early January, with several clubs considering a loan move for him during the upcoming window.<\/p>\n
Teenage forward Will Wright is likewise progressing well, training on the grass again after the serious injury that saw him stretchered off during a UEFA Youth League match against Atletico Madrid in September.<\/p>\n
When could Danns and Wright return to action?
\nWith Premier League 2 currently on its winter break until mid-January, Liverpool\u2019s under-21s would receive a major boost if both Danns and Wright are ready by the time the league restarts.<\/p>\n
The pair have missed significant game time this autumn, slowing their development, but the latest signs suggest they\u2019re on track for timely returns. Depending on Liverpool\u2019s FA Cup third-round draw for the weekend of 10\/11 January, they might even feature in the senior squad\u2014just as Rio Ngumoha did at the same stage last season against Accrington Stanley.<\/p>\n
Aside from next Tuesday\u2019s UEFA Youth League meeting with Inter Milan\u2014which Liverpool have already qualified beyond\u2014Danns and Wright aren\u2019t expected to miss many more fixtures.<\/p>\n
