Slot pushing for more January reinforcements
\nArne Slot is now preparing for further squad changes, as he wants additional quality in the January transfer window. A new centre-back is said to be a top priority, with Liverpool seeking someone capable of addressing their defensive issues after poor seasons from Van Dijk and Ibrahima Konat\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Despite the growing uncertainty around his job, Slot believes he can still rescue Liverpool\u2019s season. However, results have been concerning: they\u2019ve already suffered six defeats in their first 14 league games, compared to just four losses during last season\u2019s title-winning campaign.<\/p>\n
Could Marc Guehi be the solution?
\nOne potential defensive target is Crystal Palace\u2019s Marc Guehi, who has been strongly linked with a switch to Anfield. A move was close in the summer before Oliver Glasner halted the transfer late on.<\/p>\n
