Following the first incident, he apologised for his actions, acknowledging both the health dangers and his responsibilities as a professional. Nitrous oxide was reclassified as a Class C drug in 2023, making recreational possession illegal.<\/p>\n
Despite the setback, Bissouma went on to play a key role in Tottenham\u2019s Europa League final win later that season with a strong defensive showing. But he faced further internal sanctions at the start of the current campaign.
