The turmoil has alerted several Saudi Pro League teams, who have been tracking Salah for years as a potential marquee signing.
\nThey view him as the ideal long-term superstar to succeed Cristiano Ronaldo as the league\u2019s global face.<\/p>\n
Reports suggest three Saudi clubs\u2014Al-Hilal, NEOM FC, and Al-Qadsiah\u2014are currently interested in acquiring him.
\nBack in 2023, Al-Ittihad attempted a record-breaking move worth \u00a3150 million, but Liverpool rejected the bid at the time.<\/p>\n
Now, however, Liverpool themselves may be open to cashing in, even though Salah only signed a two-year extension in April 2025.
\nSome believe Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes agreed to the new deal primarily to ensure Liverpool could sell Salah for a substantial fee later.<\/p>\n
That possibility now looks increasingly realistic. Saudi Pro League CEO Omar Mugharbel has openly welcomed the idea of Salah joining the league, confirming he is one of their main targets.
