Spurs are said to be interested in signing Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush during the January transfer window. The Egyptian international has found game time hard to come by at the Etihad Stadium and is understood to be considering his future, with regular minutes proving difficult to secure.<\/p>\n
At this stage of his career, Marmoush is keen to play consistently, and a spell on the sidelines at City is unlikely to benefit him. A move away in January could therefore appeal, with Tottenham emerging as a potential destination. The North London club are in the market for a dynamic attacker capable of playing both through the middle and out wide, qualities Marmoush is known for, along with his goal threat and creativity.<\/p>\n
Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown has confirmed Spurs\u2019 interest, indicating that the player is expected to move on.<\/p>\n
\u201cTottenham have been looking at Marmoush,\u201d Brown told Football Insider.
\n\u201cIt\u2019s a move that would suit them because he can play up front and on the wing, which are areas they\u2019ve been looking to strengthen.<\/p>\n
