Although some reports have suggested Tottenham may need to pay a significant amount to secure Robertson in January, Gold stated on his X account that any agreed fee would be \u201cfar lower\u201d than the figures being circulated. He also noted that Robertson will turn 32 in about six weeks, further reducing his market value.<\/p>\n
Gold explained that Spurs are targeting more experience and leadership within the squad, which influenced the signing of Conor Gallagher and their interest in Robertson.
