Spurs have already agreed a deal for Brazilian youngster Souza, but the ENIC Group have also targeted Liverpool\u2019s Andy Robertson as they look to strengthen Frank\u2019s defence, with talks progressing quickly.<\/p>\n
Robertson has been labelled by analyst Raj Chohan as \u201ca below-average Premier League full-back in 2026,\u201d which has raised some concerns. However, the Scotland captain would bring experience and leadership to a squad that has often lacked both qualities. Tottenham also have one of the youngest teams in the league, and that inexperience has shown at times.<\/p>\n
According to The Athletic\u2019s David Ornstein, positive discussions are ongoing between the two clubs, suggesting confidence that a deal can be completed soon. The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning a fee would be required to secure his move this month.<\/p>\n
While Souza offers long-term potential on the left side, Robertson has lost some pace and intensity in recent years, although he remains a technically strong and accomplished full-back. His arrival could impact one of Tottenham\u2019s key players.<\/p>\n
Udogie has endured another injury-disrupted campaign, having missed 42 matches through fitness issues, which has slowed his development. This season, he has started only six Premier League matches and made ten appearances overall, completing 27% of his dribbles and losing 54% of his duels.<\/p>\n
This represents a decline from his impressive breakthrough campaign in 2023\/24, when he was highly rated. Tottenham rejected offers below \u20ac50m (\u00a342m) for him last summer.<\/p>\n
