It is understood Tottenham had been preparing for a managerial change since the start of 2026 and must now decide whether to appoint a permanent successor or an interim option.<\/p>\n
Spurs\u2019 last Premier League victory came on December 28 in a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace. The Newcastle defeat leaves them 16th in the table, just five points clear of the relegation zone. Despite progressing to the Champions League last 16, the hierarchy opted to part company with the former Brentford boss.<\/p>\n
Frank leaves only eight months after arriving on a contract running until 2028. In 38 matches in charge, he recorded 13 wins, 10 draws and 15 defeats.
