“Wan-Bissaka Demands Millions to Exit Man Utd for West Ham”

Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s proposed move from Manchester United to West Ham United has hit a roadblock due to his wage demands.

The 26-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford on a permanent deal this summer, and West Ham are the frontrunners to sign him after agreeing to pay Man Utd’s €21 million asking price.

However, the deal is now at risk of collapsing, according to The Sun.

Wan-Bissaka is open to joining West Ham this summer, but he won’t push to leave Man Utd and isn’t willing to lower his salary demands.

As per The Sun, Wan-Bissaka currently earns €105,000 (£90,000) per week at Man Utd and he is determined to secure a “significant increase,” which is something West Ham are unable to offer.

The former Crystal Palace defender has just one year left on his current deal at Old Trafford, and Erik ten Hag’s side are eager to offload him in order to sign Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui as his replacement.

However, Wan-Bissaka’s potential move to the London Stadium has stalled and Man Utd now face a significant problem as they look to purchase Mazraoui for a reported fee of around €25m, including add-ons.

West Ham’s summer transfer business
So far this summer, West Ham have been very active in the transfer market, with Maximilian Kilman, Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham arriving for a combined €126.8m.

Fullkrug is their latest arrival, with West Ham signing the Borussia Dortmund forward for a reported €27m after he scored two goals for Germany at Euro 2024.

West Ham have earned €44.7m through player sales so far this summer, with Flynn Downes, Said Benrahma, Thilo Kehrer and Nathan Trott all departing for fees.

In addition, Ben Johnson, Angelo Ogbonna, Divin Mubama and Joseph Anang have all left on free transfers following the expiration of their contracts.
